Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for Cleveland-area families exploring assisted living and respite care.

What is assisted living at Lakeview Senior Living of Cleveland?

Assisted living at Lakeview means personalized support with daily activities while residents keep as much independence as possible. Care may include help with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; medication management; mobility and fall-risk support; and 24-hour staff availability in a comfortable apartment-style setting.

Do you offer memory care or independent living?

At this time, Lakeview Senior Living of Cleveland focuses on Assisted Living and Respite Care. We do not currently offer dedicated Memory Care or Independent Living programs on this site. If your loved one’s needs change, our team can discuss options and referrals during a tour.

What is respite care, and who is it for?

Respite care is short-term stays that give family caregivers a break, support recovery after a hospital discharge, or provide a trial stay before a longer move. Residents receive the same compassionate support, dining, and activities available in our assisted living community for the length of their stay.

What are sample monthly rates?

Sample marketing pricing (subject to change and assessment): Studio from about $3,495/month; One-Bedroom from about $4,295/month; Premium Suite from about $4,995/month; and Respite Care about $225/day. Final rates depend on apartment type, care needs, and availability. See Suites & Pricing for the full disclaimer.

What is included with residency?

Typical inclusions discussed on tour include a private apartment, restaurant-style dining, housekeeping, activities, transportation for scheduled outings, medication management as appropriate, and access to 24-hour staff support. Exact inclusions are confirmed during assessment and move-in planning.

How do personalized care plans work?

We begin with a care plan assessment covering daily living needs, medication routines, mobility and fall risk, nutrition, and social preferences. Plans are personalized and reviewed so support stays aligned with changing needs.

When should families consider assisted living?

Families often explore assisted living when a loved one needs regular help with daily tasks, medication reminders, safer mobility support, more social connection, or when caregiving at home has become difficult to sustain—especially after a hospital stay or caregiver burnout.

Can we schedule a tour?

Yes. We welcome families to tour the community, see apartments, and meet our team. Use the Schedule a Tour form or call us. Preferred times can be noted on the form; we will confirm by phone or email.

Do you help after hospital discharge?

Respite and assisted living stays can support seniors transitioning home from the hospital when short-term or ongoing help with medications, meals, and daily activities is needed. Ask about availability when you schedule a tour.
